A Memorandum of Understanding is signed between Lahore Leads University (LLU), Pakistan and Liaoning Communication University (LCU), China today at the Main Campus of LLU. The Liaoning Communication University is one of the esteemed universities of China and is accredited by the Liaoning Provincial Ministry of Education and Ministry of Education, China. The scope of the MoU includes the exchange of students and faculty, collaboration in research programs, conferences, seminars and research journals. The delegation from LCU include Vice Dean, Ms. Xu Ying; Executive Deputy Dean, International Education College, Miss Christina Wu; General Secretary, Liaoning Provincial Ministry of Education, Mr. Richard Chen and Coordinator International Admissions Office, Dr. Usman Kahliq. Lahore Leads University, on the other hand, is represented by the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Abdul Majeed Cheema; Managing Director, Mr. Asad Manzoor Wattoo; Advisor, Prof. Ashhad Ahmad; Registrar, Muhammad Noorul Amin Hotiana and Director, Leads International Affairs Department, Mr. M. Irfan Afzal. The Liaoning Communication University is among China’s top six communication universities with over 105 practical labs and more than 500 highly educated faculty members. LCU offers both Chinese and English taught programs related to Mass Communication. The collaboration will open ways of improving quality of education and opportunities of enhancing R&D between the two universities. Representatives of both the universities highlighted and emphasized the importance of internationalization in education sector and improving international educational standards.
